Tasmanian State Schools Parents and Friends Inc. is the peak parent body representing all Tasmanian state school communities.

We are your voice on departmental committees and working groups as well as in the broader community, on the issues affecting all our children.

We are committed to the promotion and protection of student and parents' interests in state schools and colleges throughout Tasmania. 

TASSP&F makes regular comment on education and related issues through all media, and we provide representation for Tasmanian state school parents both statewide and nationally.

Through our newsletter Parent Contact, and regular forums held in all regions, we keep you informed and involved.

TASSP&F provides guidance and resource material for running parent groups and participating in School Associations. Parents are welcome to call into the office and access our extensive resource library Monday to Friday.

We are also able to provide a representative to any school community meeting, or act in an advocacy role between parents, schools and government agencies. Contact the office for further information.
